Call to action: Have you taken a personality test lately?
Do yourself a favor and take a personality test. They are fun, informative, and accurate. They will reveal who you are and perhaps open the door to new ways to pursue happiness because everything can be done better when we know ourselves well.
What matters today
After understanding your personality, what matters is to take all the elements of our personality types into three simple circles.
- One big circle contains all the good virtues that represent us, and they are what people enjoy the most. This is the most appreciated circle.
- Another big circle carries all the wrong things and flaws in us. This is where people who care about us will compromise and accept us with no strings attached.
- Finally, there is a tiny circle; I call it the red zone. This is where nobody wants to go to avoid drama and horrible situations in life, such as divorce, fights, or bad arguments. It is a tiny circle because people don’t have much tolerance for it, but unfortunately, it is here to stay. The secret to avoiding the red zone is to treat people the way you want to be treated and not let people drag you there. Stay firm, be respectful, and always find a positive dialog to solve problems.
Engaging with others. Have a conversation with someone.
Talk to your spouse, partner, or friend. Ask them how they can help you to do better in life. Share details of your three circles and accept their constructive feedback as appreciation and love towards you. When you open your heart to feedback, you humble your heart, and you will become a better person. The lessons of yesterday and today’s actions are what improve you as a person tomorrow.
