A trip can become the propeller of a lifestyle change.
It is within us that we look for a short vacation, a weekend trip, or a simple escape from our current situation to explore cities, small towns, or the outdoors. Most of us search for the opposite of where we live as a destination to change the scenery, recharge, and refresh our minds. Most of the ultimate experiences we create are outside of the town we live, helping to discover something new that perhaps will change our lifestyle for the better.
My change of lifestyle.
I like sports in general: martial arts, ironman races, cycling, swimming, tennis, volleyball, soccer, and other sports. I like to play most sports that include a ball in the game. However, the thing I like the most is running on trails.
Running on trails changed my lifestyle. I never thought that experiencing nature while running would make me so happy. The trails offer a change of scenery and challenge me to run in several terrain types. Having the opportunity to run in the mountains and state and national parks has increased my energy levels and improved my mental and physical health. I am a better person today because of running. So yes, to the trails, for me!
Mindful statement with a conscious question.
The fact is that any exercise helps to be a better person mentally and physically.
Don’t doubt that you will be better tomorrow if you do some fitness today. So, what do you do to be mentally and physically fit? That’s between you and your conscious.
Feeling accomplished elevates our auto esteem.
Our fitness activities elevate our auto esteem because, in most cases, we overcome difficult fitness challenges. In the end, we end up happy with the results, and consequently, our auto esteem is elevated, bringing more confidence and a better attitude to do more extraordinary things tomorrow.
The importance of change.
Change is essential to accomplish new things. Either alone or with others, do something for fun as a fitness activity – whatever you choose, make sure it adds joy to your day.
